    I’ve always been drawn to Rosemary! I literally can’t walk by a Rosemary plant without her spirit calling me in, gliding my fingers around the tips of her needle-like leaves. She’s intoxicating in the most delicious way. I find ways to tuck her into nourishing sweet and savory dishes, infusions & medicine!     Rosemary stimulates the heart & circulation, dispels cold energy, relieves exhaustion, treats depression, stress, weakness and shyness. She opens the sinuses, resolves phlegm, is great for aches, pains, coughs, colds, congestion and flu. This magical plant treats headaches, increases low blood pressure, restores the nerves & promotes clear thinking; stimulates digestion, relieves fullness & indigestion.     RECIPES
    Herbal Oil: 2-3 stems of fresh rosemary in a jar or bottle; cover with Olive Oil/cooking oil of choice (make sure the entire plant is covered w/oil or the mix will mold); place in a dark space for 4 weeks then use! Great for cooking and dressings. You can also add other fresh herbs of choice to make a blend. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

    Rosemary Stewed Fruit: sauté 2 cups of fresh strawberries and figs in a pot with 1 tbsp coconut oil, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp ginger powder and a pinch of salt. Sauté the fruit on med until it starts to soften and the juices begin to form. Slowly add 1/2-3/4 cups of water and 2 fresh springs of Rosemary. Lower the heat to simmer, pop the lid on and let the fruit stew in its juices for 10-12minutes stirring occasionally and adding water as needed. You can serve the fruit warm on oatmeal, pancakes, ice cream or with a savory crumble. NOTE: adjust spices to taste
