Taking down all the yummy medicinal HONEY I can get this Fall/Winter season! As the chill sets in, my favorite thing to do is sit by the fire with a warm medicinal elixir! One that will nourish my immune system, transforming and removing any stagnant bacteria, keeping my body strong & clean!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
RECIPE for my Immune Strength Elixir
3-4 Raw Garlic Cloves
2 Inch Fresh Ginger (chopped)
1 Inch Fresh Turmeric (chopped)
2 Tblsp Lemon Juice
4 Tblsp Honey
1/2 Tsp Cayenne
4 Cups Boiling Water or 4 Cups Of A Nourishing Tea Infusion Of Nettle + Oatstraw (DO AHEAD: Boil 4 cups of hot water, pour it over 1/2 small handful of each plant; let steep for 4-6hrs; strain and re-heat/boil)
DIRECTIONS: blend all ingredients on high speed for 45-65 secs. You can run the blend through a strainer, I like the ginger/garlic chunks so I pour straight into a mason jar. Drink hot/warm. Adjust ingredients to taste. I like it sweet & spicy!
